FAQs

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Many people come to therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because something feels heavy, confusing, or out of alignment. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a supportive next step. You don’t need to be in crisis to begin.

What is therapy like with you?

Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and human. We move at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you. Sessions often blend conversation, reflection, and gentle exploration to help you better understand your inner world, calm your nervous system, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have gone quiet over time.

How long does therapy usually last?

There is no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some people come for short-term support during a specific season, while others choose longer-term therapy to explore patterns, identity, and deeper healing. We regularly check in together to make sure therapy continues to feel helpful and aligned with your needs.

Do I have to know what I want to work on before starting?

Not at all. Many clients begin therapy feeling unsure of where to start or how to name what they’re experiencing. Part of the work is figuring that out together. You can come exactly as you are, with questions, confusion, or simply a sense that something needs attention.

What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help?

That experience is more common than people talk about. Therapy is deeply relational, and not every approach or therapist is the right fit. A past experience doesn’t mean therapy can’t work for you. It may simply mean you didn’t find the kind of support you needed at that time.

What are your rates?

Therapy is an investment in your well-being, and I aim to be transparent about fees from the start. Session rates are $130.00/session for individuals and 1$75.00/couples. We will discuss rates before we begin working together so there are no surprises. If you have questions about cost, frequency of sessions, or how therapy might fit into your life right now, we can talk through that together.

Do you take insurance?

I currently accept the following insurances:
